Cycling in

Colchester is Britain’s oldest recorded town. It also has lots of great traffic-free cycle routes and wonderful places to visit both in town and in the countryside around. We have the tranquil Wivenhoe Trail, High Woods Country Park and ancient Hilly Fields and Grymes Dyke, not to mention castles, Norman churches, a zoo, and the famous Roman walls around the town centre.
